Chuck Booher
Crossroad Christian Church
Pastor Chuck Booher and his wife Pam are products of Crossroads Christian Church. This is their home church. Through the ministry of Crossroads, they came to know the Lord, and to be called into the ministry. They were married here; Chuck baptized his father here and their first years of ministry training and experience were here.
Chuck and Pam were married in 1978 and have two sons and two granddaughters who are identical twins. Their oldest son Rich is pursuing his Doctoral Degree at Syracuse University. Tim, their youngest (who is named after Tim Coop), is married to Jill and lives in Corona. Tim and Jill are a part of a leadership team from Christ's Church of the Valley planting a church in Rancho Cucamonga. They have a passionate calling to see children come to know the Lord. Chuck뭩 mom, Mary Booher, is an active part of the Crossroads family.
It was here at Crossroads that Chuck found God calling him into the youth ministry. After graduating from Pacific Christian College, he went on to have full time youth ministries at Garden Grove Christian Church, Knott Avenue Christian Church and Crossroads Christian Church. He served as Crossroads' youth pastor from 1984 to 1987. While at Crossroads, the youth ministry grew into the hundreds and the last year he was with us, over 200 students were baptized into Christ.
In 1988 Chuck became the youth pastor of Christ뭩 Church of the Valley. God blessed the youth ministry there in an incredible way. From a small group of students, the ministry grew to approximately 1300 active jr. high through college students.
In 2003 Chuck became the Senior Pastor of Christ뭩 Church of the Valley (CCV) in San Dimas. Today, CCV's 6 acre campus is home to a congregation with an average weekend attendance of over 4,000. Since that time, the paid staff grew from 19 to 57. During the first four years of his leadership, the Missions giving grew to over $600,000 per year. CCV has sent and is supporting missionaries in Venezuela, Peru, Chili, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, and Iraq. CCV in Kenya has begun a work to rescue children from poverty, disease and homelessness that now ministers to around 300 children and over 2000 people.
Pastor Chuck answered God's calling to become the Sr. Pastor at Crossroads in March of 2007. His vision and dedication to the ministry begins a new era for Crossroads Christian Church and it's impact on the community.
