A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nancy grew up in a family that was deeply committed to Christ and to the mission of world evangelization. At an early age, she surrendered her life to Christ and to His call to serve His Kingdom.Nancy graduated from the University of Southern California, with a degree in piano performance. After completing college, she served as the Primary Children's Ministries Director at Thomas Road Baptist Church, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Since 1980, Nancy has served on the staff of Life Action Ministries, a revival ministry based in Niles, Michigan. Until 2001, she served as the Director of Women's Ministries and as the editor of Spirit of Revival magazine.
About Revive Our Hearts
Welcome to the ministry of Revive Our Hearts with teacher and host Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Nancy combines a passionate heart for God and a tender heart for women, with an unusual understanding and love for the Word of God. We think you'll agree that she has a fresh, much-needed message for today's women.
Based in Niles, Michigan, Revive Our Hearts is an outreach of Life Action Ministries. We are believing God for a widespread personal and corporate revival and reformation among women. We reach out to Christian women with three primary outreaches: conferences and events, daily media, and resources and publications.
Each year, thousands of women are exposed to our message through the Revive Our Hearts Conferences. Nancy's two radio outreaches are Revive Our Hearts (15 minutes daily) and Seeking Him with Nancy Leigh DeMoss (1 minute daily). These programs are now heard on over 700 radio stations and reach nearly one million listeners a week. Nancy's books and our resources are designed to instruct and exhort women in the Word and the ways of God as it relates to their personal walk with God and their distinctive calling as women.
Through Nancy's teaching ministry Revive Our Hearts communicates a message of personal and corporate revival. Believing God for a reformation in the hearts of Christian women, Revive Our Hearts is helping women live lives of freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss addresses 40 common lies that enslave Christian women today and illustrates how these emotions are the result of Satan's lies. Nancy tackles each falsehood with alarming frequency and severity.
