NBC is affordable due to the broader support of the Church of the Nazarene. This support from the denomination and many local churches enables the cost of tuition for students to be substantially lower than tuition found at other private colleges and universities.

• Accountable

NBC is accountable to the denomination it serves. All members of the Board of Trustees are elected by the USA caucus during the denomination's quadrennial General Assembly. Trustees represent regions, districts, and local churches as all members of the Board are members of the Church of the Nazarene and are involved in other leadership positions throughout the USA. The bylaws of the Board mandate representation of minority populations to assure diversity on the Board.

Nazarene Bible College has been a leader in adult education for over 40 years. Class schedules are tailored to the specific needs of the adult learner.

• Faculty

Faculty members are practitioners as well as educators. The full-time faculty at NBC has more than 150 years of practical experience in pastoral or staff roles in churches of all sizes. Both full-time and adjunct faculty members are involved in ministry within their own local churches.

The NBC faculty takes a personal interest in students in a way that is unlike other colleges. Faculty members pray with students online, on the telephone, at the altar in chapel, in their offices, and at local Nazarene churches. Campus faculty members open their homes to students and their families.
